The Scientific-Research Quarterly "Islam and Family Psychology" is affiliated with the Research Institute of Hawzah and University. It is published in Persian and in electronic format.

The main objective of the Scientific-Research Quarterly "Islam and Family Psychology" is to publish research conducted in the field of Islamic and family studies with a psychological approach, to disseminate scientific information, to provide a basis for the exchange of ideas and the clash of opinions among thinkers and researchers in this field, to provide a basis for the production of science, thought, and theorizing in this area, and to prepare a suitable ground for the growth and further advancement of Islamic knowledge in this field. The Research Institute of Hawzah and University, in accordance with its goals and responsibilities, in order to develop and strengthen scientific relations with researchers in the seminary and university, and to disseminate studies on Islam and psychology, publishes the Scientific-Research Quarterly "Islam and Family Psychology" based on the criteria stipulated in the regulations for determining the credibility of scientific journals and publications.

This journal began publication in the fall and winter of 1403 (2024).

The language of the journal is Persian, but it includes brief abstracts in Persian, Arabic, and English, as well as an extended English abstract.

In order to provide easy and global access to the latest research findings, this journal has been established as an open-access publication.
